    Data menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan oleh guru-guru IPA di  SMPN 2 Barombong, Kecamatan Barombong Kabupatem  Gowa masih   jauh  dari menumbuhkembangkan kreativitas peserta didik. Guru IPA mengakui bahwa memang mereka belum  tahu  bagaimana  mengkreatitkan  peserta  didik  dalam  pembelajaran.  Mereka  pada umumnya terpaku pada RPP dan menghabiskan semua materi ajar pada kurung waktu yang telah  ditentukan.  Mereka  tidak  pemah  merasa  ada  waktu  untuk  "berpikir  lain"  selain menghbiskan  materi  yang selalu  dituntut olehh para pengawas. .Jangankan berpikir bagaimana mengkreatifkan peserta didik, dalam mengajar secara biasa saja, yaitu mencekoki berbagai informasi kepada peserta didik, mereka sudah merasa kewalahan, apalagi lagi jika  mereka·    dituntut untuk mengkreatitkan mereka, tentu para guru IPA semakin kewalahan lagi. Untuk mengatasi  hal  ini,  para   guru  IPA  perlu  dilatih  untuk  mengajarkan  IPA   sedemikian pembelajaran IPA itu mengkreatifkan .peserta didik. Program ipteks bagi masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih para guru IPA SMPN 2 Barombong dalam mengajarkan IPA sehingga mengkreatifkan peserta didik

    PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE SMALL GROUP WORK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD INPRES 12/79 CELLU

    This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to describe the improvement in social studies learning outcomes for the 5th Grade of students at SD Inpres 12/79 Cellu, Tanete Riattang Timur District, Bone Regency by applying the Small Group Type Active Learning approach. The focus of this research is the application of the Small Group Work Active Learning approach and the improvement of social studies learning outcomes. The setting for this research was SD Inpres 12/79 Cellu, Tanete Riattang Timur sub-district, Bone district. The subjects of this study were all of 17 students of the 5th Grade, and the homeroom teacher of  the 5th Grade. The data collection techniques used were observation, testing and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive. The results showed that there was an increase, both in teacher and student activities and learning outcomes in social studies subjects from cycle I with Enough qualifications and in the cycle II increased to Good qualifications. Conclusion: the application of the Small Group Work Type of Active Learning approach can improve social studies learning outcomes for the 5th Grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Cellu, Tanete Riattang Timur sub-district, Bone district

    This PKM service aims to help partners overcome nutritional status problems for elementary school students at SD Negeri 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang sub-district, Bone district. There are several obstacles faced by elementary school teachers on the nutritional status of students, including the lack of understanding and concern of teachers to assess the nutritional status of students, lack of skill of teachers in measuring and determining nutritional status based on anthropometry. This activity provides teachers with understanding and skills about assessing nutritional status for students. This activity is useful for all students to know their nutritional status, for teachers it is useful in indicators of student health. This PKM activity stage is carried out in three stages, namely; The first stage provides knowledge/understanding of the concept of balanced nutrition, the goals and benefits of nutrition for humans and more specifically for elementary school students (the period of growth and development). Then the second activity stage is carried out with the mentoring method, namely carrying out the practice of measuring and assessing status based on Anthropometry of elementary school students, the third stage is demonstrating and evaluating training participants in implementing the nutritional status of elementary school students

    Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Word Square dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 37 Majang Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Word Square dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 37 Majang Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang berdaur ulang/siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Fokus penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Word Square dan hasil belajar IPS. Setting penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri 37 Majang Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 37 Majang Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone yang aktif pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian dengan tahapan reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi (conclusion drawing/verification). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan, baik pada aktivitas guru maupun siswa serta hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran IPS dari siklus I dengan kualifikasi Cukup (C) meningkat menjadi kualifikasi Baik (B) di siklus II. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Word Square meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 37 Majang Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone

    COOPERATIVE LEARNING FOR ENHANCED READING COMPREHENSION: A STUDY WITH FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

    This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of teaching reading comprehension using a cooperative learning model for first-year students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: an experimental group (30 students) and a control group (30 students). Both groups underwent pre-test assessments, material presentations, and post-test evaluations. The data, collected through multiple-choice items, were analyzed using mean scores and the t-test formula. The research revealed that reading comprehension improved significantly in the experimental group (mean score 83.11) compared to the control group (mean score 61.56). The t-test also indicated a significant difference between the two groups, favoring the cooperative learning model. In conclusion, the use of the cooperative learning model effectively enhances students' reading comprehension.

    The problem in this research is the lack of grade IV students’ learning outcome in social study subject. The problem statement in this research is how does the implementation of inside outside circle learning model increase the social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone? The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of inside outside circle learning model in increasing social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. The benefits of this research consist of theoritical and practical benefits. The research approach used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research focus is the implementation of inside outside learning model in increasing the social study learning outcomes of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. Setting of the research held in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone and the subjects are teacher and the grade IV active students in the even semester academic year 2015/2016 with the 16 numbers of students, 7 male students and 9 female students. The research design consists of fours steps starting from planning, applying, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques of this research were test and observation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The result research can be concluded that the implementation of inside outside circle learning model can increase social study learning outcome of grade IV students in SD Inpres 7/83 Pacing, Awangpone, District of Bone. It can be seen from the increase of the percentages of students activity and grade in cycle 1 are in the category of moderate, whereas in cycle II in the category of good.Keywords: learning model, students learning outcom

    Improving the Students' Creative Thinking Skills Through The Implementation of Controversy – Based Integrated Science Learning Tools

    Abstract This study aimed to measure the improvement of students' creative thinking skills after using Controversy-based integrated science learning tools. The study employed a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The research subjects were 20 students of the Science Education Program, The State University of Makassar selected using the Nonprobablit sampling technique (saturation sampling). The instrument was an essay test that had been validated. The findings show a significant difference in students' average creative thinking skills before and after learning using Controversy based Integrated Science learning tools. It shows that the improvement of students' creative thinking skills after being treated with Controversy based Integrated Science learning tools was in high category and significant. Students were able to develop their knowledge, predict some limited information, formulate a solution to a problem, and analyze information from different perspectives
